Right now, my focus is on getting KinoSearch 0.30_09, 0.30_10, and 0.31 out

Numeric types are in the big bucket labeled "After KinoSearch 0.31".  I
haven't got a specific time frame (and only give estimates to the people who
are paying me and thus purchasing the right to set my agenda.)  However, it
would certainly be a very useful feature for us, both allowing us to cut down
index size (and thus system IO cache requirements) and eliminating the need
for some kludgy zero-padding.  So it's still on the medium-term TODO list.
