[KinoSearch] Problem compiling/testing revision 4519

This should be fixed by r4521.  Some big-endian code had drifted out of sync
and hadn't been exercised in a while because all the machines I'm running on
are little-endian.

I'm getting these errors too, now, after a rebuild.  More soon...
